Welcome!

We are a research group in the Department of Physics at the University of Texas at Austin. Our research focuses on the theory of quantum matter and quantum information.

We study complex phenomena that emerge when many quantum objects (electrons in a solid, atoms in an optical lattice, qubits in a quantum computer, etc) interact with one another. We are especially interested in the dynamics of information in these systems: how are correlations, such as quantum entanglement, generated and exchanged between many particles? A deeper understanding of these processes is crucial both for advancing fundamental physics and for guiding the development of next-generation quantum technologies.

See the Research page for more details and the Publications page for a list of our recent works.
